MDAT - GoG is aware of the ISPS Statement issued by Danish Coastguard regarding information security at the Centre in Accra, Ghana.
MDAT-GoG is working closely with the Danish Authorities to obtain additional information to support its on-going investigation. To this end, MDAT-GoG management is meeting with Danish authorities.
Information security is of the very highest importance to MDAT-GoG and any suggestion that the standards have not been maintained are investigated. Information security procedures and processes are in place and are the subject of an on-going review to ensure that high standards are upheld. Information handled by the MDAT-GoG Centre is unlikely to be sufficiently detailed to be used by pirates to plan and execute attacks.
Information security at the Centre has been reviewed and procedures have been found to be both comprehensive and observed.
